Dr. Percy Francisco Morales is a board-certified Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Author, and Blogger with a wealth of experience with atrial fibrillation. For over 15 years, Dr. Morales has been an esteemed member of the Houston medical community, bringing his expertise and dedication to patient care.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Morales earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign before pursuing his M.D. at the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MO. Following his passion for cardiology, he completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also underwent rigorous fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
During his time at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Morales had the privilege of training under world-renowned physicians and utilizing cutting-edge technology to perform complex electrophysiology procedures. His dedication to advancing the field is evident through his publications on novel ablation strategies for atrial fibrillation and his presentations at national conferences.
As a proud member of both the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology, Fluent in Spanish, he strives to provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, as well as those requiring implantable cardiac rhythm devices.
